| I woke this morning from dreams of you, so here record a moment of our time. When I read "Father" I was afraid, so we made place to work it using the rich resources of university talent. Time was short%28to return you home%29wildly overscheduled %28to coordinate max numbers%29fun and rigorous. Saying goodbye, still this morning's issue,and wanting to give you something but not clutter your life--the play and our our recovering Cath lives both based in ritual--You chose from the small stones my sister brought me from the desert floor by the pyramids. It was passed from hand to hand--there were a lot of people in that theatre. That small rock holding the ages was warmed by the energy of those you touched. Anonymous rock with a secret life. It doesn't matter where it is or we are, our secret life exists. love to T and fam. love to Oni. thanks for everything. |

Tommy, Olu and Ade.....have been thinking about you three. I know Oni is smiling down on you and loving you. We miss her so very much, but I see her smiling face and I know she is at peace.
Let us not loose contact with your family.

Hi Beautiful, Still missing you and talking to you all the time.I cry alot it helps to relieve some of the pain.This is the first summer in 27 years that you and I haven't been organizing things together. So to continue that tradition, I've been organizing the Oni DC Memorial Celebration with our friends and family.The Celebration will take place at Woolly Mammoth Theatre, 641 D St. NW,Wash. DC,4:00- 7:00 PM with a Repast and Birthday Party,can you believe our youngest will start his teen years on Sept.15th; 7:30-10:30 PM at Nation House,770 Park Rd NW. Oni, the DC family as well as the NY family are being extremely supportive.You know Vina is all up in it.We are taking a busload from Brooklyn. Sweetheart you are loved.

It has been too difficult to write...which is weird because I'm pretty much never at a loss for words.
I love you Oni, miss you and think of you often, especially when I need inspiration to move my "lazy" ass closer to my dreams. Thanks for your many many words of encouragement and support.
I was able to spend some time with Ade before he went to camp. The best part was riding bikes back from the Brooklyn Musuem in the rain. And he's a great drummer too. I'll keeping checking in on him if he will have me. Oh, and had a great chat with Vina...she informed me that I must visit family in OKC more often.. I promise..and will make a scrapbook of our high school photos from Queens Players.
Hmmmm.. I guess I'm not at a loss for words when I imagine that I'm talking to you, Vera/Oni....
